This was my 4th stay. We were on 4th floor with 180 degree view. Spent hours on the deck reading and relaxing. Pool and hot tub were clean. Loved the. Tiki torches at night. Guests booked multiple trod from kiosk by the pool. Think updating the noisy, dripping A/C units. Ours dropped lots of water on the deck floor. With a hope and prayer I will be back. Located close to shopping and restaurants.

Nice corner unit with great layout and beautiful views. Could use some updates but overall it fulfilled our needs. There is a public park below and off to the left of the unit that is somewhat noisy. Unit had nice wash and dryer, beach chairs and pool noodles. Pullout beds need mattress covers.

We LOVED the Maui Sunset B423!! Property, property pool, shuffle board, golf, grill, tennis all wonderful!!! SUNSETS BEAUTIFUL!! Unit layout perfect!! We had a couple problems with lights / tv however, maintenance was prompt and fixed. Washer did not function in the unit, they should fix it. LOVED the LOCATION & MAUI, FAV Casual spot Beach Street, LOVED all the BEACHES & SNORKELING. TRIOLOGY Snorkel Tour THE BEST!! VERY HAPPY!!!

The unit location is great but it could use updating. All of the appliances were very old, furniture was comfortable but faded. The beds in the second and third bedroom were new and comfortable.

Perfect unit for families. Master suite separate from other 2 bedrooms. We traveled with granddaughter's family of 5 (3 little kids) and the layout is perfect. Good size unit and great location in building. Full ocean view. Gorgeous sunsets. Unit could use some updating but overall worked good for us.

Great views from this location. We watched the sunset each evening. Great condo with plenty of room for our family of 7! Nice and clean. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Laundry is super convenient in the condo. Location was convenient to explore the island. Plenty of parking. Pull our couches need new mattresses, that was our only downside.

We stayed at Maui sunset for 8 days and had a great time. Parking gets rather full in the evening and the elevator didn’t work for a few days but was eventually fixed. Our room had some minor plumbing issues but other then that our stay was great and the beach and views made it all worth it. Location was great and the place is well maintained. The view from our room was picture perfect and the landscaping is super cool!

The condo is nice and the views were amazing. There was a broken lounge chair on our lanai but the dining table and chairs meant we could enjoy dinner outside every evening and watch the great sunsets.
The complex has a nice beach (a little rocky) and tennis courts, shuffleboard and other things to do as a family. The pool rules are a little strict - no fun basically - so beware if your kids are pool kids... most games and toys are prohibited which is a shame. Our condo had great beach chairs, boogie boards and other things that we used and is conveniently close to walk to restaurants and with grocery stores a few minutes drive.

We loved it! Our family of 6 adults just returned from a week in paradise. Stepping into Maui Sunset B423 was like walking into a picture. This spacious unit was exactly as pictured. The deck offers amazing views, perfect for viewing Maui sunsets. The bedrooms are large, beds comfortable and the unit was spotless.

The kitchen came with a basket of 4 packages of coffee, salt and pepper, plenty of cookware, utensils and plates, etc. but no other essentials like spices, oils, tin foil, plastic wrap, etc. There is one game of Scrabble, we brought our own games but tended to have the most fun with the Scrabble game. The toilet in the master bathroom likes to spit back, so careful when you flush.

A welcome basket with information on the area, sign in book, would be a nice touch.

The unit does have boogie boards and beach chairs which came in very handy to use at the beach. The lounger on the deck was broken so we unfortunately couldn’t use that.

The location was great! Within walking distance for groceries, restaurants, beaches, everything you need!

Overall, we definitely recommend this unit. We will be back!

We just returned from our family vacation to Maui. We had 24 people, including 14 children, everyone had a great experience.
We rented 3 two bedroom condo's and one 3 bedroom, all the facilities were great. We all loved the pool and hot tub, playing shuffle board, flag football, tennis, pickleball, the beach - everything was convenient and well cared for.
The Maui Sunset is located conveniently in Kehei with grocery stores, fast food and fun beaches close by.
The oceans views were fabulous!!

We had a great time and just looking at the picture of the property makes me want to go back. Very convenient to all places, beautiful condo. The only issue we had was a toilet that had issues and they tried to fix it but it needed a new chain for the flusher. A little inconvenient but we made it work. The stay was great though! Loved the balcony facing the beach too. The pool and BBQ were great as well!

We ended up at this Maui Sunset unit after our original rental property canceled on us. Thank goodness! This condo was very well appointed. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t already there. The condo was clean, the beds comfortable and the washer and dryer were large sized! There were plenty of beach necessities included (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, cooler, etc......). The only thing I might suggest is the pullout beds in the rooms are more appropriate for younger people (12 and under)! The grounds of the Maui Sunset are very well kept. All the resort amenities were clean and organized! We would absolutely stay here again!

Was super impressed with the condo we stayed in. The accommodations worked very well for the 6 of us. Never had to ask for anything. The outside ground were just gorgeous. We played tennis every morning. The resort does need new tennis racket though. The ones we borrowed had no grip and strings were broken. We made the best of it. First day there I woke up to the moon setting on the water. Amazing sunsets right off our balcony. The pool and jacuzzi were very well taken care of. I saw a crew every morning scrubbing down the pool and surrounding area. Only complaint (and it kinda put a damper on our vacation) was the night security man. We experienced his rudeness many times. Not only to us but to others. He was rude and unwelcoming when we checked in on a Sunday night. The girls in the office were a delight to work with. We will definitely stay there again and will highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you.

We recently spent a week at Maui Sunset in a 3 bedroom apartment.

The apartment itself was adequate. It was pretty dated and there were minor issues, but it was pretty much what we expected for the price point. Our family included 4 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of space.

The location and property exceeded epectations. The pool is good size, the beach access is great for walking and sunsets, and ability to use the tennis courts and shuffle board were definite pluses.

A few of the residents (or the "owners" as they constantly refer to themselves) were the downside. Bottom line, they were rude enough that I would not stay here again (maybe that's what they want). I have no problem with Rules especially during a pandemic, but I do have a problem with people who can't be polite when they talk to people and children. Everything appears to be a nuissance to these few residents.

God help me if I ever retire on the beach in Maui and am as seemingly unhappy and burdened as these individuals.

We had a blast! The views were amazing! The property is very well kept! The condo was clean and we liked it. Only a couple things we wouldve liked to see different- There were no condiments other than basic salt and pepper. Kinda stinks to have to go buy big things for a weeks stay. There were very few garbage bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Why not just load people up so they can keep it clean? Overall though, it was an amazing place!!!

Hawaii was fabulous and our rental unit was perfect for a family celebration. We celebrated our 50 anniversary with two daughters and their families, including twin grandsons. The unit had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and large tables inside and on the porch for family dinners. The unit was on the fourth floor closest to the ocean, close to beautiful beaches and restaurants, and with a heated pool, shuffle board courts, and tennis and pickle ball courts - and a gorgeously maintained green space.

6 of us stayed at the Maui Sunset. The condo was spacious, clean and had all the necessities we needed for the week. It quickly felt like home and it was hard for us to say goodbye. Check in and out was a breeze. Parking was always available but a bit of challenge for bigger vehicles. Pool and hot tub area were great. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our week stay immensely and the highlight was the view from the lanai. The only drawback of the location was being right next to the park parking lot with nightly noise and someone threw a bottle at our rental car windshield which broke it. The living room decor was beautiful and accommodations were perfect for our party of 8. The only complaint we had was that the 3 queen beds were unfortunately uncomfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at the Maui Sunset in B423. The view from the living room lanai was outstanding. We were apprehensive about the lanai off of the master bedroom as it was very dirty and the lanai above was being held up with jacks so we did not use it. The place is a little dated but charming. The televisions did not work and when we requested help from the owner, she said she would call maintenance but no one showed up to help us. One of our party was injured in a wheelchair so a television would have been nice. We did however go and purchase some dvd's so he could watch something. Other than that the place is very comfortable and we would recommend it to our friends. We loved the fact there were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is not the penthouse location (4th floor, not 5th) and it definitely did not have a new 2019 interior. Overall we were very satisfied and will return to the Maui Sunset in the future. Mahalo!

Our expectations were far surpassed. The accommodations, the view, the courteous office staff, could not have been more perfect. We had our two adult children and three of our grandchildren with us, and just had a delightful and memorable time.

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Beach, view, green area, pool, etc. There is a public beach next to the condo where we stayed with local people who swore a bit. The bedspreads need to be replaced. Other than that it was a VERY nice place.

This was our first visit to Maui and we weren't sure where to stay. The location was great for our needs. All of the staff that we interacted with were very friendly and professional. They took great care of us. The unit was large enough for 4 adults and 3 children. There was about 7 days worth of supplies ie. kitchen soap, trash bags, dryer sheets, some outdoor activity items, kitchen was nicely stocked but was not organized. It also appeared a bit unclean. The roaches were the one thing that really got to us. We understand that maybe part of island living but it would prevent us from staying there again. We have visited The big Island and Oahu about 10 different times and have not encountered roaches. The entire complex was well maintained and beautiful with a spectacular view. The grounds provided a great area to try different activities. Our grandchildren enjoyed learning to ride a one wheel. If there was another unit to rent which meet a higher standard and we were assured to get it we would reconsider staying there. The price for the unit was within our budget.

Very clean and spacious accommodation. The condo was fully equipped and well set out. Even though the days were hot, the condo always had a cool breeze especially when front and back doors were open. I would definitely stay there again!

Not impressed with the fridge, condo smelt musty, some upgrading, like ac units, furniture, flooring, generally looked well used. We were told there would be a landline in condo, was very inconvenient as we are not cell phone people. Most of all, it needs a deep clean. We were on our hands and knees cleaning behind toilets, all through the bathrooms. Laid towels in drawers as they were filthy.

Its a great condo for the view and price and does need updating, we try to show its age through the photos. (good news is big refresh in May 2019) There is a phone in the condo with unlimited calls to US and Canada, will for sure check on that and why it wasn't on the counter. If the condo was not cleaned properly our housekeeper should have come back to correct any items, also we do provide a mid-stay cleaning so hopefully they were able to address your concerns again. We thought the resort itself was beautiful. It could update by combo locks on room and pool(especially pool as it was a pain taking key there with so many people as we stayed in a 3 bedroom). Our unit itself was filthy and the carpet smelled of dog urine. If this is a pet unit the carpets shoud be replaced by flooring. The condo needs a serious update. There were only 3 chairs for a place that sleeps 9 and no boogy boards as stated in the Maui Sunset rulebook.

The condos do have beach chairs and should have had 6 available in the 3 bedroom. Sometimes they can walk away, but we've added them back. Body surf boards aren't provided as a liability issue, not sure where that was listed in the guide book. For the flooring we will investigate, the carpets were just professionally cleaned, and after speaking with you I have a better idea where the smell may have originated. Priority number 1 for the next guest. Please know you can always reach myself or my team while on vacation. Much rather help you while on island, rather then after you return home. 423B had extremely stained carpets that smelled like urine. It ruined the experience. Management did little to alleviate the situation. Suggesting carpet deodorizer would help, that would not work. They should have refunded part of our money as one of the bedrooms was unusable

They could not smell what you described, but suggested the deodorizer. The condo is a fantastic value for the ocean front location price. Stayed 6 nights in this condo. It worked out great for 3 couples with 3 Bedrooms and 3 Full Baths. Good location in Kehei, not far from stores and restaurants. The name of the complex is so appropriate, definitely some Outstanding sunsets from our Lanai. It was great to sit on the lanai or beach in afternoon and watch all the windsurfers and kite boarders. Price was very reasonable. Would have liked to have a few more chairs(only 4 and 1 chaise lounge) on the lanai considering this is listed as sleeping 8, but we made do by moving a few dining room chairs out as needed. Also, a few more beach chairs would have been nice, ther3 were only 3. Overall, a nice place and would recommend to others.

Overall the resort is in a great location with great views of the beach. The unit we stayed in has several safety concerns that the owner needs to address ASAP. The dishwasher is in need of repair as is the door into the master bedroom. The carpet was filthy and s/b cleaned immediately.

Unit is very outdated and needs to be refurbished very badly. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

We liked our accommodations. they were clean. the pool was very nice. we really liked the activities we could participate in (tennis, shuffleboard etc). The resort was close to a lot of nice restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They were responsive to all our questions.

Condo was nice although not all TVs worked. The grounds are magnificent. Not enough parking. Short walk to the beach. Unfortunately there are beach bums living just off the property yelling and threatening every guest that dares to get close. The police were called several times but nothing happened to the bums. We were in the B building so we could hear them partying all night.

We were very satisfied with the property and would give it a 4.5 rating. The pool was heated and there are many other activities including tennis and shuffleboard to name a few.
We would provide a 3.5 for the property's condition. This was due to the fact that the property is older. This did not negatively impact our stay because we enjoyed the amenities.
The property location was a 5.0. Very convenient to stores and the beach.
The property cleanliness was a 4.0.
The property management was a 4.0. The handyman replaced the modem for the Wi-Fi service. However, there were some ridiculous rules for the swimming pool - No use of snorkels except from 8-10 AM. This appears to be a homeowners association type of rule where one or two homeowners used snorkels for lap swimming in the morning. Check in and check out was very easy.
We would definitely recommend this property to a friend.
We hope to stay again some time in the future. We had our three grandchildren with us and they loved the property.

Was such a last minute reservation because we had accidentally booked the wrong dates. The place was so easy to find, such a great location and the staff/members on-site were so pleasant and helpful. The interior was clean and though not filled with 5 star furniture, the condo was charming, warm and also well equipped with all the household goods we needed. There was a pool and gym on site which I also appreciated and the view was unparalleled. Thank you
